I provide a trusting relationship for my clients to share anything that comes into their thoughts, no matter how difficult or complicated it may seem. I will be there to listen. Something might come up that is embarrassing, unrelated to the main issue but remember, I will still be there to listen to where your thoughts & feelings take you.

In your first session you are able to get an experience of what is involved.  You can then decide if you would like to go ahead with further sessions.  Generally speaking counselling can be for around six sessions. However, you may decide to have just one or two sessions or more than six.  Some of my clients have been with me for over a year dropping down to seeing me fortnightly. You can also choose to see me fortnightly from the start, if this fits in with your schedule/timetable or maybe better financially for you.  I am flexible through the week to a certain degree working during the day, evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday. Further sessions depending on the therapy required and something that suits best in relation to your concern, anxiety or worry. First sessions can be daunting for some but I will provide a warm welcome and an unconditional positive regard

Believe in yourself and you are half way there.  Then it just takes practice!

Mindfulness & Well-Being

I practice mindfulness most days even if it just for 5 minutes. I find it allows me to ground myself from the day and gives me an opportunity to be me.

I provide mindfulness on a one to one basis, groups and organisations.

I look after my well-being by organising a balance in my timetable between my work life, spending time with my family and socialising with friends.  Most importantly I make sure that I have 'ME' time!  I enjoy gardening, cooking as well as arts and crafts. I play badminton on a weekly basis with a local club.

*I provide therapy through art and craft classes. Please contact me for further details.*
